The program to protect bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean and on the European Atlantic coast is one of those tremendous ecological successes that gives us hope. Formerly overfished, it is now found in large numbers, close to the coasts throughout the Bay of Biscay and in the south. A powerful fish that can reach exceptional sizes and weigh up to 400 kg!
